In The Lonely hour literally saved my life. I was pregnant with my first child and something awful happened to me where i wasn’t sure i was able to go on or wanted to bring a baby into what i was going through. Then i heard “lay me down” for the first time, which brought me to the whole album. I felt heard, i felt seen. I knew that even through heartbreak something BEAUTIFUL could come out of it, sam proved it with that album. It showed me there was light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you sam!
