this is the first song i can remember falling in love with and learning all the lyrics to it and singing it all the time. even though as a child i had no experience with the emotions this song conveys, it has stayed with me into adulthood and to this day i get chills and cant resist belting it out every time i hear it. hearing how much this song means to you and the updated rerecording gave me **** body chills. so thankful to be a sailor <33
