Sam’s music has been there to carry me through tough periods of time (and the good bits in between). One of those was finding out that I was expecting a child with a life-threatening condition. The chorus of “Lay me down” symbolised the hope I felt as a mother-to-be for all to be ok, for the child to be ok. ❤️
