in 2014 my mom was listening to sam's songs on repeat, "i'm not the only one" in particular. i loved it, and i was a child back then. forward 4 years, i rediscovered sam's music. my brother bought "gloria" for my birthday and i still listen to "i'm not the only one" with my dear mom.
